The PUAN Grants (PG) Program is jointly administered by the U.S. Mission in Pakistan and the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN).
The program offers three types of funding opportunities on a competitive basis, for initiatives that create impact at professional, organizational and community levels. These funding opportunities are open to PUAN Members.
Internship Program
The Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) Internship Program is a 12-week paid internship program that provides undergraduate and recently graduated students with the opportunity to gain work experience in a professional setting.
Thematic Conferences
Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) conferences are highly anticipated events that bring together Pakistani alumni of U.S. exchange programs for engaging discussions, networking, and knowledge sharing. These conferences serve as platforms for fostering collaboration, promoting professional development, and addressing important issues in Pakistan.
Masterclasses
To support an enabled economic growth, development, and inclusivity in Pakistan, the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) conducts five-day residential Masterclasses on various themes of national interest. These Master Classes aim to connect young, emerging mid-career, and senior alumni from various fields. Alumni from across Pakistan are selected through a competitive application process to participate in these thematic in-residency masterclasses.
Chapter Reunions
Every chapter organizes an annual reunion for
its members. Chapter reunions provide excellent opportunities. All eligible
PUAN members are welcome.
Regional Travel
PUAN provides funds for alumni travel to
select U.S. State Department events and conferences in the region.
